Sabrina and her cat, Salem, travel to Colonial-era Westbridge to research a history project, but Sabrina's powers have been time-locked so that she won't change history. Their first shock is meeting Harvard Kinklin and Libbeth Chestler -- dead ringers for Harvey and Libby. Libbeth is as jealous as her alter ego; when she sees Sabrina talking to her cat, she brings charges of witchcraft against them. Suddenly Sabrina and Salem are trapped in the past with only their wits to escape...and time is running out!
This book was okay. It makes good light reading. I didn't hate this book and found it entertaining but that's because I enjoy the show. If you're going to read this book and are expecting an interesting plot that's not over-done well...don't read this.
I had some problems with this book. It was about time travel and you can probably guess that it's confusing. The subject of time travel here wasn't explained. The characters just mentioned things like "Well if I already went, and decide not to go it would change history. But I already left ten minutes ago so..." and such. I found it extremely confusing so I just ignored those scenes.
Also, it was unrealistic how Libby is the descendant of Libbeth and acted just like her. But, this is fictional so I guess it's excused. In my opinion Harvard (who is supposed to be extremely sensitive) doesn't come off that way. He seems perfectly normal but, when something bad happens he starts crying. Well, I guess it's normal but it just didn't seem realistic to me.
Ok, maybe I was digging too deep into a book that was based on an episode from a t.v. show, so I'm not going to rate this.
Likes: That Libbeth got what she deserved...in a way.
Dislikes: Well I have it all in the review.
