Each night when 16 year-old London Lane goes to sleep, her whole world disappears. In the morning, all that's left is a note telling her about a day she can't remember. The whole scenario doesn't exactly make high school or dating that hot guy whose name she can't seem to recall any easier. But when London starts experiencing disturbing visions she can't make sense of, she realizes it's time to learn a little more about the past she keeps forgetting-before it destroys her future.
Part psychological drama, part romance, and part mystery, this thought-provoking novel will inspire readers to consider the what-if's in their own lives and recognize the power they have to control their destinies.
Wow! :) I really loved Forgotten. It was just so intense, and it was definitely hard to put down. Don't read it if you have to go somewhere, because it is really hard to stop reading it. London Lane's story is a definite chill up the spine.
I really loved Forgotten. At some points, it felt like a 5/5, and some times it felt like 4.5/5. I decided to give it a 4.5/5 in the end, but I love it intensely. There are many debut authors, and Cat Patrick has proved her story is good. And it is. I especially loved the part when the "table is turned around", where everything she knew about is suddenly twisted and turned around. The rules are totally different.
The characters were strong and well put together. I loved how all the pieces of the puzzle came together in the end. It wasn't a happy-happy ending, but it will satisfy the reader to understand and care for the characters in the end. I did. Luke was just so sweet and charming. London Lane is a strong girl, and she fought for the truth. It was hard for her to go through this every single day, but she proved and showed that she wasn't going down. This was a great mystery, thriller, romance, drama, and psychology genre all in one, and this is one novel that is just too amazing to say just, "Wow."
Likes: London Lane, Luke, the twists, the story behind everything, romance, drama, thriller, well-crafted storyline, the characters
Dislikes: Nothing.
*Note: This book contains sexual content, some language, and mild violence and gore.
