WE HAVE MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION |
|
We have relocated to a new site and no longer refer to our selves as THE REVIEW CHRONICLES, but instead THE EVERYTHING GURUS. There are many reasons as to why we've moved, but surely you know that commitment issues is one of them. However, the main reason is that we've decided to expand our website, and express our multiple interests instead of focusing on books (although you best believe that we will continue to write about them.)
We hope that you continue to follow our journey and join us at THEEVERYTHINGGURUS.WEEBLY.COM - ARIA & ROSELLA

I love writing my reviews to share my feelings about books. And of course, I love to rave about my absolute favorites, such as The Hunger Games series, the Belles series, etc. :)
I usually know straight from the start what the rating of the book is going to be. If I don't like the book, I usually just put it down but I might give it a couple more tries sometimes. That's why you'll see that most of my reviews tend to be mostly in the 4 or 4.5 range because I know a book is going to be good if I keep reading on. I definitely don't rate the reviews on certain categories, such as a mark for cover, a mark for ending, a mark for character development, etc. Those are helpful but I tend to just review from what I feel the book has brought to the table for me. I do look though for well-rounded characters, an interesting plot, a good development, and such. Hopefully this helped and let us know in the comments what you look for in a book when you review or if you don't review books, just plainly what you look for that makes you want to read a book! :) I love when an author can make me sympathize and understand why a character does what she does, even if he is wrong or right. And I am loving Bridget Zinn and Poison right now! :) Sixteen-year-old Kyra, a highly-skilled potions master, is the only one who knows her kingdom is on the verge of destruction—which means she’s the only one who can save it. Faced with no other choice, Kyra decides to do what she does best: poison the kingdom’s future ruler, who also happens to be her former best friend.
But, for the first time ever, her poisoned dart . . . misses. Now a fugitive instead of a hero, Kyra is caught in a game of hide-and-seek with the king’s army and her potioner ex-boyfriend, Hal. At least she’s not alone. She’s armed with her vital potions, a too-cute pig, and Fred, the charming adventurer she can’t stop thinking about. Kyra is determined to get herself a second chance (at murder), but will she be able to find and defeat the princess before Hal and the army find her? After reading Romeo and Juliet, I definitely want to see the movie and the trailer is absolutely amazing! :) The cast is absolutely perfect and the acting looks amazing! :) BEAUTIFUL COVER. AMAZING SUMMARY. CAN'T. WAIT. PLEASE. COME. OUT. NOW. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. THANK YOU. :) SO EXCITED! :) Lillia, Kat, and Mary had the perfect plan. Work together in secret to take down the people who wronged them. But things didn’t exactly go the way they’d hoped at the Homecoming Dance.
Not even close. For now, it looks like they got away with it. All they have to do is move on and pick up the pieces, forget there ever was a pact. But it’s not easy, not when Reeve is still a total jerk and Rennie’s meaner than she ever was before. And then there’s sweet little Mary…she knows there’s something seriously wrong with her. If she can’t control her anger, she’s sure that someone will get hurt even worse than Reeve was. Mary understands now that it’s not just that Reeve bullied her—it’s that he made her love him. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, burn for a burn. A broken heart for a broken heart. The girls are up to the task. They’ll make Reeve fall in love with Lillia and then they will crush him. It’s the only way he’ll learn. It seems once a fire is lit, the only thing you can do is let it burn... I can't believe there are already ten books in the series and it is still going strong in suspense and mystery! :) THE SECRET OF KING TIME REVEALED!
Tsubasa’s beloved twin sister Arisa is awake – but wants her eliminated by the King! Reeling from Arisa’s betrayal, Tsubasa falls right into a trap set by “King” Midori. The clocks tick as Tsubasa awaits her demise. Will this be her final King Time? I'm really enjoying this classic tale because it is so interesting and of course - known to many! :) Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written early in the career of playwright William Shakespeare about two young "star-cross'd lovers" whose deaths ultimately unite their feuding families.
It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and, along with Hamlet and Macbeth, is one of his most frequently performed plays. Today, the title characters are regarded as archetypal young lovers. This book sounds so interesting and I am enjoying it so far! :) Keep reading with us, only on TheReviewChronicles! Lillia has never had any problems dealing with boys who like her. Not until this summer, when one went too far. No way will she let the same thing happen to her little sister.
Kat is tired of the rumours, the insults, the cruel jokes. It all goes back to one person– her ex-best friend– and she's ready to make her pay. Four years ago, Mary left Jar Island because of a boy. But she's not the same girl anymore. And she's ready to prove it to him. Three very different girls who want the same thing: sweet, sweet revenge. And they won't stop until they each had a taste. Hey guys! :) So I'm doing a 50-Book Challenge for 2013 and I'm really excited. So look below for the book I've read and let us at TheReviewChronicles know what you're reading! :)
