Having uncovered the dark secret of her enigmatic classmate, Edward Cullen, Bella Swan embraces her feelings for him, trusting Edward to keep her safe despite the risks. When a rival clan of vampires makes its way into Forks, though, the danger to Bella has never been more real. Will she make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the people dearest to her?
The second volume of Twilight: The Graphic Novel completes the visual adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's worldwide bestselling debut novel and is a must-have for any collector's library.
I love, love Twilight! :) Stephenie Meyer is an amazing writer, and these drawings by Young Kim are amazing. Twilight: The Graphic Novel: Volume 2 kept me flipping the pages until the conclusion. I loved it.
I love how it starts, because this graphic novel captured me in from the start. The emotions shown by the characters, the humour, the thriller-like moments - all of these are from the book and hard to show, but it was nicely crafted here.
I loved Bella. She was so strong to leave everything to save everyone. She always wants the best for everybody, and with James on her lead, it was hard to get away, leave the safety of Alice and Jasper - to save her mother. She didn't want to hurt Edward's family.
I loved the tense moments, the sweet moments, everything. The prom moment was especially pretty. This is definitely a great read for anybody. I loved all the characters, especially Alice. It awakened all the great memories and it highlighted all the good moments of the original novel. The ending was definitely suspense-ful, and I was on the edge of my seat. Bella made a huge sacrifice, knowing she had to give it all up and maybe leave the person who has never left her.
Edward is definitely right for keeping her safe. Bella wants to become one of them, and he doesn't want her to give up her life for him. It's the ultimate sacrifice, and this graphic novel showed all the sacrifices she had to make for him, as well as him for her, because they loved each other.
I can't wait for the next edition of this graphic novel series!
