Tsubasa thinks that her pretty and popular twin sister, Arisa, has the perfect life. Everyone at school loves Arisa-unlike the hot-tempered Tsubasa, whose nickname is “The Demon Princess.” But when Arisa attempts suicide, Tsubasa learns that her seemingly perfect sister has been keeping some dark secrets. Now Tsubasa is going undercover at school - disguised as Arisa - insearch of the truth. But will Arisa’s secrets shatter Tsubasa’s life, too?
FRIEND OR ENEMY?!
Shizuka, confined to a wheelchair, blames her misfortune on Arisa. Will she seek revenge using the King's cell phone? Can Tsubasa defend Arisa against Shizuka, and get the information about the King? Or does the King have something far more sinister in store?
I absolutely love the Arisa series and this novel didn't disappointing. It showed Shizuka's side of the story and how she stirs up the story by adding a twist no one saw coming...
The pacing of this novel was amazing. I was flipping the pages just waiting to see what would happen. I flew threw this novel and wanted to see what would happen next!
As always, I loved Tsubasa's braveness. She has one goal in her mind and she won't let anyone get in her way to helping her sister. Her emotions, feelings, and thoughts were so alive and amazing and I was so glad that this novel included so many things.
I liked that the book had a mix of everything. Thriller, mystery, romance, some action, adventure, and so much more that just made the story more exciting.
The side characters helped to tell the story and give their insight. Each manga novel characters are changing and some are becoming more important than others. I just can't wait to see what happens!
The only thing that I wished was different in this manga novel would be the excitement but the ending changed this. As always, Natsumi Ando leaves an amazing cliffhanger at the end and I was glad that the author could reveal a little more each time while still keeping the readers waiting for more. It's a really great balance. :)
Likes: Tsubasa, Arisa, Akira, Shizuka, Shizuka's braveness, Tsubasa's confidence, mix of genres, side characters, revealing information while withholding other information, ending, cliffhanger, emotions, feelings, thoughts of Tsubasa were real
Dislikes: a little less excitement than the other manga novels
*Note: If you want to start the series, start with Arisa: Volume 1.
